WE ARE WINNERS!  FSB (Federation of Small Business) Self-Employed / Freelancer of the Year 2023 East of England. The awards ceremony took place on Friday 17th March 23' when the winners' were announced - We are thrilled that DJV Boutique secured the prize in this category.  The FSB awards celebrates the achievements and contributions of small businesses and the self-employed across the UK. It's an opportunity to gain widespread recognition and generate invaluable publicity. We have gained several other national awards and accolades over the years, however this feels more poignant, being closer to our home town. Winning this award is a huge honour and we look forward to representing our region in the FSB UK finals. In association with the FSB (Federation of Small Business) I was recently honoured to be selected as a finalist for Small Employed/Sole Trader of the Year! I attended the awards ceremony on Friday 4th March at Newmarket Racecourse which was amazing! Although I wasn’t the overall winner - I’m very much thrilled that DJV BOUTIQUE made it to the finals, representing the East of England region, especially when I as a sole trader was up against some other amazing small businesses in the area. A memorable occasion and another accolade to be grateful for. The turbulence and set backs we've all encountered over the past few years have been fierce but I personally believe that we'll overcome, prevail and look forward to brighter days - just as long as we continue to work together and support one another.  

What a great way to start the new year... I've just received the most amazing news...! It's been announced today that I (the business owner/founder of DJV Boutique Ipswich) has been selected as a finalist in the Federation of Small Business Awards #fsbawards [Self Employed /Sole Trader of the Year category East of England]. This is such a huge honour and I'm very much looking forward to the forthcoming Awards Ceremony in March when the overall winner will be announced, so watch this space for the results!  This is a much-needed positive boost for me personally as small business owner who's striving to succeed.
